its the whole package. yes the yankees have money but boston and other teams can offer just as much for a player. pitchers (usually) get better when they are on the yankees. hitters (usually) get better. players get better. yankees have good scouts from both inside and outside the US. staff and coaches make players better. not money. prime example again being CC going from good to awesome. money didnt make him better
